Information We Collect
Chess Grandmaster AI version 1.2 does not collect personal information.
The app may store preferences locally on your device, such as board theme, piece style, avatar selection, sound settings, timer settings, gameplay preferences, completed-game history, cached Game Review analysis, and Premium entitlement state. These settings and game data remain on your device for app functionality.
Game Review and Diagnostic Exports
Version 1.2 analyzes completed games locally on the device. Cached review results may include moves, board positions, engine settings, suggested alternatives, move-quality results, and timing details.
Review summaries and diagnostics leave the app only when you choose an action such as Share, Print, Copy, or Export File. The destination app, operating system service, printer, or person you select may process that information under its own privacy terms. Chess Grandmaster AI does not automatically send review data to the app provider.
In-App Purchases
Version 1.2 offers an optional, one-time Premium Unlock. Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through StoreKit on iOS and iPadOS, or by Google through Google Play Billing on Android. The app provider does not receive or store your payment-card number or store-account password.
When you purchase or restore Premium Unlock, the app communicates with the applicable app store to obtain product and entitlement information. Apple or Google may process purchase, account, device, and transaction information under their own privacy policies. The app may store the resulting Premium entitlement locally so unlocked features remain available offline.
Premium entitlement does not transfer between Apple and Google store accounts. Restore Purchases requires an internet connection and the same applicable store account that originally made the purchase.
Online Features
Version 1.2 does not enable online player accounts, sign-in, live play, chat, player queues, or player-to-player challenges. Store connectivity is used only when requesting product, purchase, or restoration information from the applicable app store.
Advertising and Tracking
Chess Grandmaster AI version 1.2 does not display advertising and does not track users across apps or websites.
Data Sharing
Chess Grandmaster AI version 1.2 does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Store transactions are processed by Apple or Google as described above.
Children's Privacy
Chess Grandmaster AI version 1.2 does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if future releases add or change app features. Updates will be posted on this page.
